Our
board and staff are committed to transparency and accountability, both
in our own lives and in our shared work together. Surgery sponsorships help with both direct hospital expenses and
also non-hospital expenses related to surgeries such as housing,
transportation, food, and visas. Some of our foreign staff live in
facilities we rent in Jerusalem and Amman that also serve as
offices and housing for visiting families. Our Israeli staff receive a modest
salary in keeping with local requirements. Each year in the US as a
tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization we file Form 990, which shows our total
US income, the percentage which is spent on actually helping people, and
