Pray

We have special standing to ask God to help others when we’re willing to be part of the answer. As we give our time, our money and our love for our neighbors’ children, we have a place to pray for their healing:

Jwana, our precious young teenager, is healing well after her open heart surgery one month ago. We hope and pray that she will be discharged soon to reunite with her large family in Kurdistan.

Little Shaida returned home to Kurdistan with a healed heart after having been with us over four months. We are thanking our Heavenly Father for the grace and mercy He has blessed our beloved Shaida and her mother with.

Mohammed, our joyful six-year old, is also healing well after his heart surgery. He is full of life and energy and brightens up our days with his laughter and funny faces.

We are thankful for the healing of Ayad's heart. It is obvious by his rosy fingernails and lips that the surgery was a full success.

Little Mubin arrived two weeks ago, and within two days, received his open heart surgery. He has been back in Jerusalem for almost a week and continues to amaze us with his smooth recovery.

Please continue to pray for the Gaza clinic on Tuesdays, where many children from Gaza are followed up or evaluated for possible surgery. There still is a huge need for medical help.

Prayer Focus of the Week:

This week, the state of Israel has begun to implement a new policy requiring applications for Israeli visas from people in “enemy countries” to pass an extra level of security clearance. Because we are not familiar as of yet how to navigate through this visa issue, the Iraqi and Kurdish children we help to bring to Israel for medical treatment may, for now, slow down or stop. Please join us in prayer that the new security measures not slow down or prevent these precious children form getting the medical attention they need.
