This week we had the privilege of celebrating little Kajeen’s 4th birthday. We all joined with the families to head out for the delicious taste of ice cream from Aldo’s. Kajeen was nothing less than ecstatic to have such a tasty treat after her evening meal. Eighteen of us whiffed around in the shop, steadily sampling as many flavors as we could and carefully choosing the finest flavor combination to satisfy our palates. Our little Kajeen selected a strawberries and cream cone that eventually covered the entire area around her mouth. I had a similar experience with my butter cookie waffle cone…
Once we had finished our cones we took a walk toward Ben Yehuda St. where one can find all sorts of shops, eateries, street performances and perfect spots for the entertaining sport of…people watching.

On this night we had the pleasure of watching a man juggle flaming torches, some heavy duty rocks, and a chain-saw (without a proper blade of course, safety first). Kajeen and her mother, in awe of this Israeli man’s skill and still full from ice cream, showed a deep appreciation for her birthday celebration and the time we all spent together just enjoying each other’s company.
