Artificial Eye To Be Prepared For Noor

When I
was in the children's ward, I visited this little girl from Gaza. and I
learned more about the story of her eye. Two years ago she had surgery
for a malignant tumour but was unable to get a suitable prosthesis.
Tomorrow she will go to Haifa to a specialist unit which will begin the
process of preparing an artificial eye with the exact characteristics
of her beautiful brown eye.
Noor has already sustained a heart operation, and is recovering well
from it. Having this cosmetic correction will make a huge difference to
her as she grows into the happy little girl she shows in her
picture.
Please pray for her and her family as she will then return to Gaza when
released from Wolfson. We are so grateful that Shevet can touch the
children from Gaza whose lives are often so difficult.

Progressing Well In Children's Ward

Today I got to visit Noor, who had surgery on Monday and is now
progessing well in the children's ward. Noor is from Gaza and, along
with her mother, has been somewhat anxious but now is progressing well.
Please continue to pray for her and the other children who come from
Gaza and the West Bank. They come with some apprehension and are often
unsettled; smiles intersperse with tears.

Successful Surgery Today

We visited Noor today at Wolfson Medical Center in Tel Aviv. Her
surgery was
performed today and it was a complete success. She is presently
recovering
in the ICU and her condition is stable. She was already responsive when
I
visited and was able to move her hands quite a bit. Please continue to
pray
for her as she recovers.
