Emergency transfer to Israel as Sabbath starts

At the age of just 36 hours baby Omar had recurrent attacks of cyanosis, and doctors in Gaza had to connect him to a mechanical respirator to keep him alive. They reached out to the hospital in Israel for an emergent transfer to find surgical help for Omar’s complex congenital heart defects. And thank God, the Sheba Medical Center went the extra mile to receive him into their ICU on a Friday evening, and they will prepare him for surgery next week.
