Imdad’s peace and calm

Written by Don

Today we had a dual purpose for our visit to the Sheba Hospital. First, to collect baby Mohammed S. for discharge. He looked well and snuggled into his Mum truly relaxed.

The other purpose was to  take Imdad for the pre-operation ECG and Electrocardiogram. He has waited  such long time for this day but he and his Mum remained calm, taking everything in their stride as the day progressed.

The consultant explained a choice of operations to repair the aorta but a final decision will be made when the medical team meet on Sunday.

Throughout my time with Imdad I was conscious of the atmosphere of peace and calm, in the journeys,  and the positive care of the staff.

Prayer gave the Shevet team an attitude of assurance in Our Lord’s personal presence of love, mercy and wisdom for everyone involved.
