Balsam had a diagnostic catheterization at Sheba Hospital today and it went very well. The doctors were able to see that she has smaller arteries than what is normal and she has a high blood pressure to the lungs. This can make a heart surgery more dangerous and difficult, but the doctors believe she is still a good candidate for her next surgery.

Balsam’s mother was both happy to see Balsam again after the catheterization, and very nervous about the next steps. The date of Balsam’s next surgery is not set yet.

We ask for your prayer for Balsam as she is recovering from the catheterization.
