Our beautiful tiny Hazhin is improving a bit after the problems she had following her surgery. She is still on peritoneal dialysis. The doctor says that this was necessary because she was not urinating. She hasn’t had any more episodes of stopped breathing today, though she is still intubated and on ventilator. Her father continues to take good care of her, sitting by her bedside for long periods of time. It is hard for us volunteers to see her so helpless, sedated in her hospital bed with tubes all over her – I can’t even imagine how difficult it is for her loving father to see her like this. Please be praying that she will continue to improve, and that she will be able to have a successful artery switch surgery soon. Please pray that God will give encouragement to her father, and wisdom to the doctors as they take care of her.
