A Good Team

Yesterday Dad and I were very worried how the echo was going to be for Sahand, because he always cries so much that they previously needed to give him sedation. So I really asked the Lord and my friends what we need to do, so they gave me some ideas. Today very early in the morning we went to the hospital for his first follow up after surgery. He enjoyed his time there, he played with the toys that I had, and he also was running and walking everywhere. Sahand and Taman had a good time together playing and drawing. His doctor was very happy to see him, he looks a very healthy and active boy. In the beginning when we took him to the echo room he cried a lot. I took out the bubbles, a toy with light, a puppet and I put music on my  cellphone. And dad took out one bottle of milk and a bottle of water: “we were ready.”

It was really funny that we had a lot of stuff to calm him down. In the beginning, it was really difficult, and I thought “this can not be possible”. But thanks to God: Dad and I had grace and together we danced and sang and played together. They could perform his echo and ECG and vital signs. I remembered that:

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16

God is always teaching us. The doctor was very happy with his progress. He is in good condition and his surgery looks good. However he has some liquid in his heart, so she made some changes in his medication and he is going to have next follow up in one week. Dad was a little sad, but we trust in God and we declare that He is in control and He can make the miracle again. Please pray for complete healing also that he and Dad can go to home soon.
