When we arrived at the cardiac clinic at Sheba Hospital today, we found beautiful little Mira from Hebron and her dad in the waiting area. Mira had just finished her echo and ECG with great results, and the surgeon was arriving to remove her surgical stitches.
Mira has a big personality and was excited to “drive” the train around the hospital waiting room after her echo. She didn’t enjoy getting her stitches out, but she was very pleased to play doctor and check her dad’s oxygen. HerĀ dad and doctor were very pleased as well, as her echo looks great and she can now stop a medication that she receives via injection.
We’ll see Mira again in a couple of months when she comes back for another follow up echo.
