Today little Ali returned to the Sheba Hospital for a CT scan. This strong little boy fasted for the entire morning and then some, as he and his parents sat in the waiting area for hours before their scan finally started.
But–although praise God, the scan was completed–when fitting him for an IV line, Ali received a giant hematoma in his hand which caused it to balloon to twice its size, much to his distress! Although he wasn’t in any great danger from it, his doctors decided to hospitalize him for observation, as it would be difficult for the family to return in case of issue.
By the time Ali was thoroughly examined, he had calmed down and proceeded to find his new hand size very interesting, holding it up in comparison to his other. He remained in a good mood for the rest of the day, despite the hospitalization. We pray for his well-being and for a quick discharge, as his parents didn’t bring any clothing with them!
