Today I visited little Liya in Sheba Hospital’s Pediatric ICU. When I entered her room, she was sleeping peacefully. I didn’t want to wake her up, so I left the room again with quiet steps. Before that however, I quickly took a picture – I wanted to show her mother who had conversations with other mothers in the waiting area, regarding how adorable her little daughter looked while she was sleeping.
I also told her what a nurse had reported before, that Liya’s next catheterization is supposed to take place next week on Tuesday or Wednesday. The doctors will then make a decision about when Liya’s surgery should take place.
May the Lord continue to stand with Liya’s family in all the challenging situations. It is so great how He has always protected Liya and held His hand over her during all the procedures that she had.
