Beautiful Ziad was smiling today as co-worker Colin brought him a perfectly-sized toy car for him to do physical therapy on. He was also quite verbal with us, as now he associates us with the chicken dance, so he was saying “Ja Ja” a lot and was eager to see chicken-dance videos.
He is in the secondary ICU now due to low oxygen and weakened heart function; it is possible he will go in for cardiac surgery this week to aid in this. It was a joy to see him and his mother.
Please pray for him. He has had a long road, with many ups and downs, but God has protected his life thus far, and we pray that through another surgery, God will sustain him and give him more life.
