When I visited Hussein today in the ICU at Sheba hospital, his mother was eager to show me something exciting– Hussein’s lips and fingers are no longer blue! “Bye-bye, blue,” his mother said with a big grin.
Hussein is doing very well after an excellent surgery yesterday. He is no longer receiving oxygen support from the ventilator, and now that his combination of heart defects is repaired, his cyanosis is a thing of the past.
Thank God for Hussein’s surgery and recovery!
