This morning, the doctors at Sheba Hospital took Somaia into the operating room to try to close her chest. Unfortunately, she did not respond well so they reopened her chest before bringing her back to her room.
Somaia’s situation is very complicated. Her doctor explained to me that she now has an infection in her chest and is receiving antibiotics to treat it. Her grandmother was very disappointed that the surgery today was unsuccessful. Please pray for Somaia, and Somaia’s grandmother.
