Coworker Amelie and i brought Hussein and his mother to the dental clinic today at Sheba Children’s Hospital. Hussein’s teeth needed some good cleaning before he can have his heart surgery.
Hussein was very happy all morning, but it became a little bit scary for him when the procedure came closer. He did not want to leave his mother’s side.
The procedure went really well. When we entered the room, Hussein was already waking up. For his mother, it was overwhelming to see him, so she needed some time before she could actually be there for him.
Hussein is now in the ICU and he will stay there until his surgery on Sunday.
In the waiting room today, Hussein’s mother said to me that I should remember that God is generous. And indeed God is generous. Please pray that God will bless the surgery of Hussein with his generous love.
