Today coworker JoMa and I visited Avan and her mother at Sheba Hospital. Her mother was waiting for us eagerly and was very happy to see us.
The doctor told us that Avan is stable, but she is not doing as well as they had hoped. She is suffering from hypertension at the moment, and the cardiologists will consider the further treatment plan tomorrow. It came up that they may want to do a second surgery, but it’s all still pretty uncertain.
Even though it was not the most positive news, Avan’s mother was still in a good mood. We pray that Avan will be healed and that her mother will be able to stay strong
