Sila has been stuck in the hospital for a while, slowly trying to gain weight and become stronger. I checked in with her doctor today and there is promising news for her. They do not know when she will be discharged but they suspect it will be more time, as she is still weak, but day by day she is eating more from the bottle and less from the NG tube, and she recently switched away from fat free milk as her body was able to process Lipids again.Her father is very concerned for her health, especially at the prospect of transferring her to a hospital closer to home, which he is skeptical of. He wants the best for her, and cares for her so tenderly and with such deep love.
