I was glad to see Layan and her mom in Sheba Hospital’s PICU today. Her mother told me that Layan is doing well following her surgery on Thursday, praise God.
As we both looked at baby Layan in her hospital bed, a nurse came in to care for her. The nurse gave us the good news that Layan would be extubated later today. We are profoundly grateful for the excellent care Layan has received and for how God has preserved the life of this precious image-bearer.
Please continue to pray for Layan as she heals and that this surgery will improve her heart function longterm.
