After her surgery at Sheba Hospital yesterday, Maryam is doing really well and remains stable. As I entered her room, I saw already that she was extubated. The doctor said she is recovering well.
When I visited her today, Maryam was sleeping peacefully. I wondered again how God is working on this tiny little child through the expertise of the medical staff. He cares for this precious baby and has done so many great things, which we have seen in the last few weeks.
Coworker Lena visited Maryam earlier today, and said that Maryam had problems falling asleep even though she was really tired, I was grateful to see her finally sleeping when I arrived.
We continue to pray for this little child and her improvement as her treatment goes on.
