I popped in to see Sila this morning and found her wide eyed, looking in the direction of the beeping sounds and mouth working out this tube in her mouth. I thought she might cry but no, she was just calmly observing her environment
I stayed with Sila for a little bit, prayed for her and then continued my visits. On a return visit, a short while later, I saw she was extubated, hallelujah! It was a joy to see her sweet face free of the tube! The doctors also removed her stomach drain which is another excellent sign and all steps in the right direction. Praise God, this precious little girl is on the up.
