I still have been unable to meet Saif and his mother, as the coronavirus restrictions block visitors to the intensive care unit at Sheba Medical Center.
We understand this little one is not well, from the day he arrived at the hospital, he was not in a good condition. The tests from last week showed that he has some signs of infection and is being treated with antibiotics. He also had a brain MRI, which showed some abnormalities, and a problem with the blood flow in his leg.
At the moment, it’s not yet possible to safely carry out a surgery for baby Saif, not until he is more stable and free from infection. Thank God that he is in good hands here at hospital, and even more so that he is in the hands of God, the safest place of all.
Please pray for his recovery, and that a surgery might be possible soon.
