My visit with Ali today was short, along with the visit of the Sheba nurses, because he was *not* having it today. The second he saw me, he did not greet me with his usual smile and playful demeanor, but started crying, a greatly out-of-character reaction for his best friend Max!
Ali’s mother was tired too, wanting her son to sleep and be peaceful so my visit ended after a short silent prayer and what I hope to be the beginning of a peaceful rest for Ali.
Doctors have reported his condition remained good over the weekend, he has grown stronger and they plan to release him soon, hopefully in the next few days.
