Happy girl back home in Jaffa

Khanda was discharged today from Sheba hospital. Her grandma was so happy to finally get outside in the sunshine after more than one month of being inside the hospital.

Khanda’s cardiologist said that although her heart looks good, it could be that her pulmonary arteries are a little narrow and she may benefit from a catheterization to widen one or both arteries. She will be reviewed in the clinic to see whether this is a necessary step for Khanda before returning to Kurdistan.

It was a fun journey returning home to our community house in Jaffa together in the car. Khanda’s grandma is a lady who is fun and full of life!
