Ayham was discharged from Hadassah Hospital this afternoon! His family is very excited to have him and his mother coming home, hopefully in time for dinner!
The nurse has said they expect that Ayham will return to Hadassah within a month or so for follow up. It was difficult to realize that this was probably the last time I would see him and his mother. It has been an amazing experience to see Ayham go from a happy boy, to one struggling for his life, then back to being happy.
Please pray that by the next appointment, Ayham’s heart will be strong enough to proceed with the surgery needed to make him a healthy boy also.
