Today Margarita and I had the pleasure of bringing Razbar and her father home from the hospital. She has been there for about a week, and her whole experience there has been very smooth. She still looks a bit downcast and weak. She didn’t break into a smile or pour out endless chatter as she usually does. But, slowly we are seeing one little sign of her personality creeping back to life: the sweetest and smallest little clap of her hands, barely even taking her hands apart from each other. But, it’s a good sign, and hopefully she will be able to enjoy herself even more this evening at the party for Sahand and Roman.
The other lovely thing to share with you is the light spirit which her father has. No longer having to think about when the surgery is going to be, and with all the worries of it passed, he was so relaxed, happy and chatty. The weight of worry seems to have lifted from him.
The words which are coming into my mind are from a Christmas carol:
Hail! the heaven-born Prince of Peace!
Hail! the Son of Righteousness!
Light and life to all He brings,
Risen with healing in His wings.
Mild He lays His glory by,
Born that man no more may die;
Born to raise the sons of earth,
Born to give them second birth
Hark! the herald angels sing,
“Glory to the newborn King”
Really, praise Jesus for his good work with Razbar and for bringing life and His spirit of peace into this family. Please continue to pray for the complete healing of Razbar, and for her heart to know the life of Jesus.
She will come back for an echo in 1 week. She also needs to have an MRI scan in 1 month to assess the size of the mass which was seen before to be causing her stridor.
