We found Ziad’s dad cheerfully by his side today, and Ziad at peace (as long as he can look up now and then and see that his papa is nearby). He still has good days and bad days, as his system is easily disrupted. Today, thank God, was a good day.
Ziad’s father is not willing to return home to Gaza until his son is stable enough to face conditions there. It is good to see his level of sacrificial commitment. This is what godly fathers do: lay down their lives for their wives and children.
