Looking to Jesus

It was quite difficult to see little Rafif today. Yesterday she had surgery to place her pacemaker internally. Sadly the report came from the medical staff today that Rafif is not doing well. They reported that she bled out during the night, and they almost needed to take her back into the OR to address the bleeding. Thankfully she stopped bleeding before needing to go back into surgery, however, although she was doing a lot better by the time we saw her today, her condition is not so good.
She looked so small, with the fresh stitches on her chest, surrounded by tubes and cables again. Her body was moving slightly, and I also can really see the resemblance of her grandma in her eyes.

It is important to remember that Rafif is a precious member of her family, and her grandma has been tirelessly by her side in intensive care for about 3 months now. But even more importantly, we need to look to Jesus and declare His name over Rafif:
…God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9‭-‬11)

Please keep interceding for Rafif, where the hope of the medical staff seems to be fading, we know that nothing is impossible for God.
