May God Give Her Strength

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”  2 Corinthians 1:3‭-‬4

Today was really a pleasure for me to be all day with the amazing and sweet mom of Shakar. Very early in the morning we took her along with Dima and her mom to Jerusalem. We had a good time there, we went to different sites and we had a beautiful lunch together. Mom enjoyed her time with us however I could see her sad face for her little baby. I really wished that Shakar was with us. But I know that God never forgot about him, and he will take care of Shakar’s mom and her family. Sometimes it is so difficult to understand God’s allowances, but he always is in control.

In the afternoon we arrived home, mom finished packing, we prayed for her, and we went to the airport. For me it was so sad to leave mom at the airport without Shakar. I remembered when I picked them up from the airport, but now mom is on her way back home without her beautiful Shakar. Praise the Lord for the people in the airport, they were very nice to us.

When the time to say good bye came we both gave a big hug, and she started to cry, so I held her hand. I love her, and I hope to see her again. I was very thankful that Dima and her mom are going to be with her during the journey home. I only pray that God will give strength and hope in her life and also to her family.
