Today Sanad returned to the hospital, just one day after his last visit with us. He performed both an echo test and a pacemaker interrogation. Both yielded good and helpful results. His pacemaker battery will last for likely another seven years! His heart will soon need the Fontan procedure to be performed however, ideally within the next couple months, and he’ll be on a new medication until then.
Pray for him! He’s a happy little boy, who, after he gets over initial shyness, is very eager to play and to laugh and to demonstrate his mighty strength.
We trust God to preserve and deliver him through both the waiting and the surgery to come.
