Taleen came for her follow-up on Wednesday, much to the joy of my coworkers. She showed up armed with a frilly pink dress, big sunglasses, and a huge smile, and she and Lena and Elise got along great. She got along great with everyone all day in fact, not making a single peep during any of her examinations, eagerly helping her father and the doctors wherever she could, and bouncing on the waiting table on the meantime.
And good news from the examination–she’s looking great! Her health is wonderful and there are no present worries. She’ll be back in three months for her next follow-up, and we’ll look forward to this beautiful, healthy child again then.
