Preparing for surgery

Today coworker Lilly and I visited our new emergency Gaza child Adam, who arrived at Sheba Medical Center yesterday with his lovely mother. He is only 5 days old and really tiny. So he is laying in the ICU under a heater and he is already intubated.

Adam has two holes in his heart, his heart pressure is very weak and the great arteries are switched. The doctors made today different ultrasounds and one leg is a little bit swollen. Now they get to know him and after the different check ups, he is going to have his surgery soon, probably on Sunday or Monday.

We spend a nice time with the mother and talked with her a little bit. Let’s pray for this little guy, his mother and for the surgery that everything goes well!
