There are not enough words to express the joy of Omar’s grandmother when she heard that Omar was going to be discharged and she could go back to Gaza and all her family with a healthy baby.
Grandma was so excited that she even forgot her important handbag in the car – so we had to turn and bring the bag into the main building at the border only to be greeted by a screaming little Omar who was just very hungry. We hope and pray for a happy reunion with all the family, especially with his mum who is now able to get to know her lovely son.
We pray that he will grow to be a healthy young man despite a difficult environment. And we pray for the Lord’s love, His peace and His protection over the life of Omar. And may Omar and his family get to know our Lord Jesus Christ.
