Today we were called to the hospital for a second echo as a team of cardiologists wanted to look at Nyaz’s right ventricle on ultrasound. We were accompanied by 3 visitors from Oxford in the UK today who were so lovely with with Nyaz playing and dancing with her whilst we waited for her appointment.
Nyaz’s mum showed us some beautiful family photos from home and it was a privilege to get a little insight into her life back in Kurdistan. Nyaz has two older siblings who look like they are very close to her.
Praise God the echo went really well and due to Nyaz being so calm throughout the assessment the doctors were able to determine that the best next step for her will be catheterisation. Everyone at Sheba was very taken with Nyaz today and it is obvious why, she has a smile that just stops you in your tracks and disarms you. We pray that this heavenly joy long continues for sweet Nyaz. We also pray that a surgical plan become available following catheterisation.
