Today I picked up our good friend Kenan and his mother from Gaza. He came to Sheba for a short genetic appointment. They only took some blood and then he was ready to go back. Because we also had some other kids from Gaza to tend to, he needed to wait some hours before we could bring him back to the border crossing, but his mom didn’t mind the waiting time at all. She has many friends in the hospital. It was my last time seeing Kenan and his mother after they became such good friends in the last year I have spent here and I will miss them a lot. God please protect Kenan and his mother back in Gaza!
