Mohammed’s first night after surgery was a little challenging, as he experienced some bleeding that kept the doctors and nurses busy for a while. Thankful God, they were able to get it under control, and he is now stable. He has continued to remain stable throughout the day.
I peered through his large glass door as the nurses adjusted his position and topped up his medication. With so many drips and drains surrounding him, they seemed to outnumber the little boy himself! My co worker Elisa was able to visit him in his room while his mother was there. She said his color looked good up close, which was encouraging to hear.
This dear little boy is now on day 1 post-op, with a long road to recovery ahead. We continue to pray for healing and strength for Mohammed, and for comfort and peace for his mother and grandmother as they support one another and stay close to their precious boy. We trust you Father to carry him through every step of his journey
