Our cute Liya is still waiting in the ICU and slowly improving. She looks better every time I see her and still the progress is only very slow.
Today Liya listened to some calming music from a electronic tablet, regardless she started to cry sometimes. It is always so sad to see a baby with a tracheostomy cry when they are unable to make any sounds. She is crying but no one can hear her cry for help. Liya still needs to wait to get stronger and better until the doctors can make her next surgery.
In the meantime, we enjoy the time we get with Liya and her mother. Please pray for Liya and that she will keep improving!
