Late this morning, Sila was taken in for a new interventional catheterization. Her doctors aimed to balloon the pulmonary arteries in order to improve her blood pressure, which would in turn permit her chest closure.
Praise God, the catheterization, lengthier than normal, was a success, and Sila emerged looking to be in good condition. She needs to recover from the procedure, but if all goes well, she will have her chest closed again in the next couple days.
We continue to lift her up in our prayers, asking for our Father to restore her after such a long wait.
