Today the Lord blessed us with meeting a sweet young woman named Domiana— a 19 year old Christian from Bethlehem. She came to Sheba Medical Center for an MRI of her heart, which she shared she has had problems with for her whole life. Even so, she is such a sweet young lady who has a gentle, but joyful personality.
Coming into the MRI, she was a little bit nervous as she said she didn’t know what to expect. But, she trudged on regardless of her nerves and the MRI went very well, praise God!
Though she was a little bit shy at first, we soon got into conversation after connecting over the fact that we had both gone on a trip to Poland in the past year. It was lovely to have a mutual point of connection to break the ice, and soon we were sharing pictures and talking about our favorite places there. At that, it was also discovered that she loves cooking Arabic dishes, and playing the piano.The time with Domiana today was lovely, but soon came to an end as she began her journey home right after the MRI. The results won’t be ready for a few days, but we are grateful that everything went well today. May the Lord be praised for how He is working in her life, and we ask for prayers that she would continue to have health, healing, and peace.
