We were disappointed and worried to hear late last week that, after testing, Sila’s doctors at Sheba Hospital found that she is battling a fungal infection in her blood. They are not quite sure how she obtained this, but her surgery had to be postponed until this could be cleared up and properly treated.
We were pleased today to arrive at her bedside and hear that her doctors are pleased with how she has been responding to her treatment for this infection. Her physician today was even hopeful that she may go in to surgery this week, depending on how things progress in the next few days.
Please continue to pray over her and for this. She urgently needs this surgery for her Truncus condition as soon as she is safely able to undergo it.
