At Sheba hospital today, little Hadeel needed an ultrasound before surgery. Her father and I brought Hadeel to the ultrasound department, finished the exam and returned to her hospital room to wait there.
Hadeel was doing very well but was hungry due to fasting required hours before surgery. She was pretty tired and eventually fell asleep in my arms. I put her on her bed to sleep.
Unexpectedly, an urgent situation occurred with another child, necessarily filling Hadeel’s surgery slot. This was a relief to finally give Hadeel some nourishment. Her father coped well with the surgery postponement and was very gracious. Thank God for his patience.
Please join me in prayer for little Hadeel, every day of delay is taking the risk for her a bit higher.
