We received great news! Sila is strong enough to have her surgery, and it’s set for tomorrow. Coworker Bethany and I went to Sheba Hospital to visit her and her parents before the big day. Sila seems to be doing well, as well as one can expect in these situations, but her mother looked exhausted. I asked if she slept well, and she said no. The parents of these heart patients always receive such a strain during their time in the hospital.
Please pray for Sila’s mother and father, because I’m sure they’re very nervous as tomorrow morning quickly approaches! Also help us lift up Sila, praying that her small body will endure the procedure and have a swift recovery.
