Sixteen month old Ayham arrived at Hadassah Ein Karem this afternoon from Gaza. His surgery for retraining of the left ventricle is scheduled for tomorrow morning. They are hoping to switch his great arteries next week. Ayham is such a happy boy…until the doctors and nurses arrive!
He was in the hospital for three months as an infant and possibly he still has memories from that time. His mother made a video-call to their family at home and Ayham was very happy to see his Papa and siblings. His brother was singing and sending kisses and that helped to distract him a little.
Ayham’s heart is weak so please pray that he stays strong and that the surgeries are successful. Also pray that this loving family will be filled with the hope and peace that comes from our awesome God!
