You, Eternal God, see precious Mahmoud, suffering, struggling to breathe, blue lips. You see him wincing, as he is (somewhat) aware of his labored breathing. God, you see him and you know him.
‘For you created his innermost being; You covered him in his mother’s womb…’ Psalm 139:13
‘Your eyes saw Mahmoud’s substance, yet unformed…’ Psalm 139:16
You are ‘the God who sees.’ Genesis 16:13
We pray Father God, in the name of our Divine Healer, Jesus, that you would give this baby new life, a life healed, restored, whole. Breathe, oh breath of God, your life into Mahmoud’s lungs, and throughout his tiny body. Holy Spirit, come, and fill this child with the very power that raised Jesus from the dead and use him for your glory, Lord. We thank you and praise you God, that you do indeed see…all of us.
