This picture of Mohaned is one of my favorites because it is a milestone for him: he is on his belly and able to hold up his head! Thanks be to God.
He has been working with a physical therapist. His progress is remarkable when I think about the fragile little baby who couldn’t hold his head up even when you held him upright. When I came back to the Jaffa home base, I showed coworkers Colin and Georgia this photograph and we all said, “Who is this baby?!” He looks so good.
Please pray for him, that there will be a resolution to the situation of his guardianship when returned to his own home, which will be critical for his continued progress, and ultimate flourishing. We love this sweet boy so much.
