I met Maryam and her grandmother today at the Imaging clinic for Maryam’s Video-fluoroscopy. It was an interesting experience. The grandmother had to take Maryam on her lap and hold her still, while I was feeding Maryam some milk and other food on the command of the technician. The reason Maryam had this test is that the doctors want to see what happens when she swallows and if the food actually goes to her stomach. Maryam still has trouble gaining weight. She is already eleven months old, but she fits the clothes of a two month old. After the test, a nurse took her back to the room in this big bed. Please pray for wisdom and for healing for this precious child.
