Doro and I found our good friend Kenan relaxing in his room in the pediatric ward at Sheba this morning. The first thing I noticed was his special heavy-duty crib. When I asked his mom, she laughed and explained “The doctor says Kenan is the only one in the whole hospital with a bed like this. He plays and climbs too much for a regular one, it can’t hold him.”
Kenan was excited to have visitors, especially when Doro let him play with her glasses, which were endlessly hilarious to him.
After several days in the hospital, Kenan is doing much better and could be discharged today to our house in Ashdod, where he will wait for his EEG next week. We’re always glad to have him and his mom as our guests and we’re looking forward to spending time with them.
