This evening after bringing three other families to Ben Gurion Airport for departure back to Kurdistan, coworker Bria and I received our two new babies coming in from Kurdistan, Lawik and Hazhin! Lawik is here with his amazing mother who surprised us by speaking English pretty well. This makes communication for us so much easier. She is a smart and kind woman and we directly enjoyed our time with her!
Little Lawik is only seven and a half weeks old and is diagnosed with transposition of the great arteries. He will need surgery as soon as possible and so we hope doors will open for him. We pray God will bless their time here and heal tiny Lawik and give his mom strength for all the coming challenges!
