Sila’s super long hospital stay is almost at an end. She’s quite a happy baby now that she is stronger. Today she had two main expressions on her face— either the twinge of a smile….
– or wide eyed, opened-mouth wonder at the fascinating world around her. She experimented with gripping my finger.
Today the doctors increased her nutritional value intake and plan on vaccinating her either today or tomorrow. Which leads me to say that they have another, bigger plan for tomorrow as well… they want to discharge her!
We are grateful that this long road is behind her, and yet a life-long journey still awaits ahead.
For now, we’re excited to see her go home and get to know, and be enjoyed by, the rest of her family. Praise God!
