Yesterday our sweet little Moaz had a catheterization at Sheba Hospital. Since his aortic valve is really narrow, his heart had to work really hard to pump blood through his whole body so he needed this intervention really urgently.
The cath went really well and with almost no difficulties. The doctors were successful and could widen the valve. We pray Moaz will respond to all the treatment that he has and will receive and that his valve won’t narrow up again.
New arrival from Gaza
Four-day-old Moaz who just arrived this afternoon to Sheba Hospital as an emergency transfer from Gaza, has a very narrow aortic valve and his heart is very weak. His doctor explained that he needs very urgent emergency surgery, but unfortunately there are no surgeons in the hospital over the weekend due to the holiday in Israel. They intubated him and give him a lot of adrenaline to keep him stable until Sunday.

Moaz is a days old child from the Gaza Strip diagnosed with Aortic Valve Stenosis.
Moaz does not yet have a local leader to advocate for prayer and financial support for his surgery.
